@steveloughran @pan3793 I will continue to push forward work related to
future JDK compatibility. One area we need to pay attention to is the migration
from `javax.*` to `jakarta.*`. This is a relatively straightforward PR that
attempts to upgrade `javax` to `jakarta`.
