Sorry for any inconvenience caused here. HADOOP-11017.9.patch was the original
patch and HADOOP-11017.12.patch was the addendum.
I agree we could have reverted the initial patch altogether, and committed it
only after all the review comments were addressed. Given it had been a few days
since the original commit, we thought reverting it would be more involved than
committing an addendum (to be honest, haven't attempted to revert). However,
the initial commit broke RM restart/HA and we needed a quick fix and hence the
addendum commit. HADOOP-11122 is to fix findbugs warnings and a couple of
related review comments.
