Jason Lowe commented on HADOOP-11288:
-------------------------------------

That's something you'll need to bring up with Cloudera. They are free to
choose not to support the CapacityScheduler. However that decision does not
directly lead to that scheduler being an invalid setting in Apache Hadoop.

> yarn.resourcemanager.scheduler.class wrongly set in yarn-default.xml

> The yarn.resourcemanager.scheduler.class property is wrongly set to
> org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.scheduler.capacity.CapacityScheduler.
> CapacitySchduler is not even supported. Should be
> org.apache.hadoop.yarn.server.resourcemanager.scheduler.fair.FairScheduler.
