goto ur <dfs.data.dir>/current You will find a file VERSION.. just modify the namespace id in it with your namespace id found in the log ( in this prev post --> 200395975 ).. restart hadoop.. (bin/start-all.sh) ... see if all the daemons are up.. regards, Matthew
