Has there been any thought given to making validator less 'form' centric in the future? I know it came from the Struts arena and struts depends on it, but if it is going to be a 'common' library, the term 'form' seems very HTML form like.
I ask primarily because we want to use validator, but not necessarily behind struts and the config kind of confuses some of our customers.
