the lazy consensus appears to be that jakarta will match sub-wiki's to sub-projects so probably commons would have it's own sub-wiki. we would need to watch out for change messages posted to the list and heal any vandalism.
are we really to make the jump and (if so) does anyone feel like stepping forward to make this happen?
