You have to download the library directly from the sun website. This issue is fixed, this means the fix has been accepted into CVS. You can use a nightly build to test the fix. (see download page for url) DBCP 1.2.1 will be release shortly to restore JVM 1.3 compatibility. By the way, if you want to help prevent these kind of issues, beta testers are always welcome. There is always a test period (the first call to test DBCP 1.2 was made on 17 may).
