The latest version of the patch does that; the only thing you might want to change is to remove the @deprecated flags on the interfaces which return unreduced fractions. Just for the record, no one has yet shown me any convincing reason to preserve unreduced fractions. And note that the original interface also silently reduced fractions when performing mathematical operations.
