The reason is that Dumbster provides us with this part. And unforutnalnty the smtp jar can't be downloaded from ibiblio due to Sun licensing. So every person (and gump) that wants it has a problem. What I think we need to do is tweak dumbster and our tests to output the email. Dumbster has the contents of the tests I believe, so we should be able to get what we need out of there? Is the SMTP dependency b/c it is easier to test attachements and images inline etc?
