OK.  I see the problem.  You are not requesting a default catalog name be 
used, you are concerned that using the default catalog will cause confusion 
because the user may expect the command to be found in the current catalog (as 
opposed to the default.)

Perhaps the documentation for LookupCommand should be improved in order to 
warn the user of this potential pitfall?  I am not sure how we could address 
your concern without causing confusion from the reverse scenario (where the 
user expects it be the default catalog and its not.)  

I will look at your ideas again (now that I understand the problem.)  Also, I 
will see if I can't think of something myself.
