I assume you had to "roll your own" month names string. I would like to have made it more convenient but it seems that this whole business of localized month names on ftp servers is rapidly dying out. I did a bit of research and never could find any publicly accessible ftp sites that coded month names in any language other than English, regardless of what language the site used in its text messages. I assume that your site is not publicly accessible either. Please let me know if that is not the case. I'd recode the "standard" French month names to what you found to be the case, but you are the very first user whose report I've heard. I have no idea whether your situation is more "standard". The problem is there are no standards here, which is why I made it so flexible.
