http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=36719 Summary: Most ObjectPool.borrowObject() implementations do not call validateObject() Product: Commons Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Pool AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] The borrowObject() methods of StackObjectPool and SoftReferenceObjectPool do not check the validateObject() method before returning an object. This goes against the expected behavior diagramed in http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/pool/guide/sequencediagrams.html GenericObjectPool does have correct behavior. I'll try to submit a patch if I have time latter this week. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
