http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37111 Summary: Request for MutableBoolean implementation Product: Commons Version: 2.1 Final Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P2 Component: Lang AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I ran into a situation where a MutableBoolean implementation was actually useful and wondered if Commons Lang might consider adding the implementation. My example: final MutableBoolean success = new MutableBoolean(false); doSomething(new MyCallbackInterface() { public void callback() { // do something... success.setValue(true); }); Basically the ability to change the boolean's state within an inner class, where the declared object must be 'final'. Pretty obscure I realize, but this turned out to be quite useful in the application I was working on. -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
