http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37436 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2005-11-17 20:36 ------- Yeah its minor, hence why it should go :) We have to remember that we are writting these libraries for end users - these aren't applications, they are small libraries, building blocks if you will, that we hope users will use; they don't want to choose one library for a small part of their application and then realise they now have to include 3 other extra dependencies - not a nice feeling. If I can shift complexity, and extra deps is complexity, from the end user to myself then as long as its practical I choose to do so. Duplicating 30 lines of code from File and IO is practical, duplicating all of JCI in Drools isn't. I think this is something that all end users will feel strongly about when making a choice on JCI and will thank you for :) Bob wanted to comment on the issue, but is too lazy to have to make the key presses to open an apache account :) -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
