Yeah its minor, hence why it should go :) We have to remember that we are
writting these libraries for end users - these aren't applications, they are
small  libraries, building blocks if you will, that we hope users will use; they
don't want to choose one library for a small part of their application and then
realise they now have to include 3 other extra dependencies - not a nice
feeling. If I can shift complexity, and extra deps is complexity, from the end
user to myself then as long as its practical I choose to do so. Duplicating 30
lines of code from File and IO is practical, duplicating all of JCI in Drools
isn't. I think this is something that all end users will feel strongly about
when making a choice on JCI and will thank you for :)

Bob wanted to comment on the issue, but is too lazy to have to make the key
presses to open an apache account :)
