Verified sigs and hashes as well as other checks.

One small thing.  If you don't want to immortalize apachecon 2005 in
the site distributed in the binary distro, you can apply the following
patch locally to commons-build before rolling the final.  I have not
checked this in, because the conference is still going on:

Patch just comments out content of apache.ent.
