Ibiblio won't pick up deletes - that's correct. What I want to do for the maven 2 repository is sync from archive.apache.org instead of www.apache.org, and tie the deletion from www.apache.org to the deletion of the actual release. The maven 2 repository sync *will* honour deletes.
