[commons-net] ftp - special chars in file names

Hello,

is there already some feature for handling special characters in file 
names? Most GUI-clients can handle spaces, etc. in file names. When I 
use FTPClient.storeFile() it doens't work. I also tried setting the 
control encoding to utf-8... no advances...

Thanks for the info, before I start examining the sources in deep.
