http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=38873 Summary: setCharset() in Email does not set the charset for the message content Product: Commons Version: 1.0 Final Platform: Other OS/Version: other Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Email AssignedTo: commons-dev@jakarta.apache.org ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello More accurately, the charset is not used in buildMimeMessage() as it is not part of the contentType used when calling message.setContent(). Since setContentType() updates the charset, I think it makes for setCharset() to update the contentType?
