http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20240 be the same problem you're having?
If so, you should be able to upgrade to the latest nightly build and the problem would be fixed. I can't be sure if the fix made it into beta 1 or not - it's definitely worth a look anyway.
