http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21754 NullPointerException when releasing connection ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-21 08:05 ------- Laura, HttpConnection can safely be used on its own. There's even a little demo app in our sample directory of how that can be done: http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs/jakarta- commons/httpclient/src/examples/CustomHttpConnection.java?rev=HEAD What is important to understand here is that as long as HttpConnection is used directly one should not be using (or should be extremely careful using) HttpClient's connection pooling mechanisms. I believe this is a fair requirement. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
