It makes sense to rename video-l to multimedia-l. I also like the idea of bringing multimedia discussions back to the commons list, copying both lists, for the first month or two. Once the traffic gets too high, it can focus on its own list, but the first few dozen threads would likely be welcome by the commons-l participants. This would also remind everyone for a period of time of the new energy going into multimedia.
