At the moment Nanning is very experimental, and primarily my own experiments. (Although Nanning is being used with great success at projects at my company.) Putting Nanning under Jakarta Commons would (necessarily) put some more constraints on my freedom to experiment. When things cool down a a bit and gets more stable (there's still a lot of grey areas in Nanning) Jakarta Commons is probably a place where Nanning could end up. But at that time a lot of things could've happened and Nanning won't even necessarily be as cool as it is now. :-) I agree with James. At the moment, let's focus on attributes. This is a fairly clear area and there's a lot of uses for attributes without AOP. In the meantime go ahead and try Nanning out. Play with it and send in your patches. Let's get used to the technology, form a community opinion about this stuff and in a while we're ready to create the AOP framework of the future! _____________________________________________________ Gratis e-mail resten av livet p www.yahoo.se/mail Busenkelt! -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:commons-user-unsubscribe@;jakarta.apache.org> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:commons-user-help@;jakarta.apache.org>
