if i comment out the source line:
final FileName rootName = getContext().getFileSystemManager().resolveName(name,
FileName.ROOT_PATH);
And you changed the following "rootName" by "name", didnt you?
The bad thing is that VFS needs to know if the given path if a file or
directory, in case of ftp this has to be done by list the parent and
parse the given directory listing.
I dont have any better answer for now.
Please open a ticket at http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/ so we wont
forget it.
