FYI: I emailed the OP privately about the posting.

The problem has been solved.

It was an Unix issue (the OP did not elaborate).

We are using Commons VFS in a webmethods Java-service. When we run it from
one server it works well.
But when we move it to another server it can't connect to the SFTP-server.
When we trace the error, we find that
the cause is this:

Caused by: org.apache.commons.vfs.FileSystemException: Could not load
private key from "/home/webmeth/.ssh/id_rsa".

Caused by: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0

It is strange because the /home/webmeth/.ssh/id_rsa file exists on the
UNIX server and looks like this:

If the private key could be loaded, it should be able to connect to the
SFTP-server.
What can we do to solve this problem?
