I don’t think that’s entirely accurate. What is true, however, is that there is evidence behind the NDA violations while the sexual harassment allegations remain just that... allegations without evidence. > One of the reasons more women are not in this tech Industry even after > studying and excelling in Technology and Engineering degrees is because of > fear of their own safety. I agree the issue must be taken seriously. However, it is also important that we do not get into a lynch mob mentality and pursue punishment prior to evaluation of evidence and proof of guilt. > We must be very vocal on issues of sexual harassment especially in a > male-dominated field. I think there has been no shortage of vocalist, but reason, impartiality, and evidence are also required. So far, those things are in short supply with regards to this particular allegation. > Yes, I know these allegations are pending investigations; so don't remind me > of this; My one plea is that this issue is not swept under the rug and that > it is looked at > with the ultimate care and urgency, it deserves. I believe that is happening. The board resolution passed unanimously. The GC has a timeframe and a budget. What, exactly are you asking for that isn’t being done? > It would also be helpful for the community to know the timelines of these > investigations. Are we waiting for weeks, months, a year? The board resolution called for a report from the GC by the end of April. > When should we expect a report on these issues? The board has committed to releasing the report to the community after receiving it, so I would presume some time in early May.
