I would have to build up on Paul’s questions here. As far as I know, NGOs should be transparent with their finances. It is for the convenience and assurance of their members that the services they are receiving is acquired through legal means. Does the AFRINIC have “other financial means” that the community is not aware of?
AFRINIC has been very secretive when it comes to their behavior that it raises suspicion and nothing has been addressed. I thought that we should be building a community of transparency and honesty here. I hope that the Board addresses these concerns for the sake of the community.
