I'm trying to do this. I send the message to this address: user-subscr...@jmeter.apache.org and then, when I receive the message confirming that, I click on the link to send the confirmation, and the message returns to me.

Repeat that for the "issues" list. However note that that list is for reading the notifications that come from the JMeter issue tracker Bugzilla.
