as suggested by Niclas, I asked the question on trademarks@a.o. The
answer I got back was broadly in the affirmative. I can't see anything in
the answer that is confidential, so am repeating it here.

>From trademarks@a.o:

*In general this is acceptable as long as it's clear from the context, both
within the video itself as well as in whatever context it's displayed (on
the Isis website, Maurizio's website, etc.) that Apache Isis is a software
product from the ASF.

We have FAQ in our Apache trademark policy that explains the general
context and issues to look for in situations similar to this.

  http://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/faq/#integrateswith

With the number of people making videos or other training / awareness media
like this, it's clear we need to add a FAQ for this case too!

In particular, we would like to see an explicit mention of "Apache Isis"
within the video itself. This should be done both in the script, as well
as in the splash screens where the Isis logo is displayed. Ensuring that
the first and most prominent mentions of any Apache project use the full
form of the name is the most important way we can help our project
communities get the credit they deserve.

A small corporate logo from the party that created an educational video
like this is generally fine to do. End users understand that the creator
of the video or training class is separate from the project that creates
the software product itself.
