I'm considering something like this https://www.amazon.com/Bottom-1-0mm-Ribbon-Sockets-Connector/dp/B016D0AX02/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1484057666&sr=8-4-fkmr1&keywords=bottom+down+5pin+connector with corresponding FFC to DIP breakout board for now. I don't have caliper better than 0.2mm precision and could not reliably tell that it the pitch and diameters of holes for the connector. Any input would be highly appreciated.
