This is last call. I'd like to make a first beta release next week. BTW, just to be clear: Shapely 1.2 requires Python 2.5, which has been out since September 2006. Python 2.6 will be fine too, but Python 3 will not be supported by Shapely 1.2.
I have applications still using Python 2.4 and I intend to support Shapely 1.0 for at least another year, and even more if those particular apps remain viable. I will happily accept (tested) patches that port features of Shapely 1.2 back to 1.0 and we'll make new 1.0 releases as warranted.
