Carl Icahn, a mobile industry investor with 33.5 million shares of
Motorola, has added mobile content services and software supplier
Motricity to his portfolio of companies. The funding buys him an
undisclosed percentage in the company and a seat on the board for his
son, Brett.

Motricity has experienced good growth in the last year, quadrupling its
customer base to include wireless operators and media and entertainment
companies, such as Alltel, Cingular, MTV, NBC, Sprint, and Universal
Music Group.
