Thanks Andreas! Actually, a while after making this post i thought i recalled seeing "gmail problems" in one of the posts, found and read thru that thread and decided that it must be a gmail problem...
Sorry for cluttering up the list with more fluff mails, but seeing what Ulrik said it looks like it was a bigger problem than just gmail... Maybe the list server is starting to recover?
