I still think that some sort of modular keyboard (i mean: template, skin, whatever you may call it) would be the best solution: everyone chooses what fit's better for his needs. And everyone can develope in a simple way some sort of keyboard in the meanwhile, and we have plenty to choose from for the official realease to be included.
