If you make use of a PHP framework then it is perfectly possible to use a clear MVC concept.
Yes, it *is* possible, but that is not the point here to discuss possibilities. The topic is about which Webshop technology sould be used by OpenMoko. It appears that oscommerce doesn't use MVC in PHP (because it was apparently not started with MVC in mind several years ago). And therefore it appears to be quite difficult to maintain.
