There are some chips, like the Philips TEA5764HN, that can be put on the i2c bus (see http://www.nxp.com/acrobat_download/datasheets/TEA5764HN_2.pdf). They provide FM RDS and can be used for TMC. However I don't think it would be an easy task to directly integrate such a chip on the Neo.
