Sorry to burst your bubble but the Qtopia release has this already, I haven't executed the program but it seems to be the same as qtopia's behaviour where you hold your finger on an area of the keyboard and a little circle comes up with an enlarged view of the keyboard so you can precisley select the letter you want.
