i installed gps sight today and fired it up, but couldn't connect to the gps. tango was showing a good fix, so gpsd was running. i looked on the wiki page, and through some rather ambiguous writing, i surmised that gps sight implements it's own intermediary for communicating with the gps hardware. is this correct? i turned off gpsd, but still couldn't get a fix.
