I even tried to signal back from the python code, and do the animation through this signal. It works unless I dont do anything else in my method. But if my method do some work, the animation gets missed. I suspect the problem comes from the fact that our program is single threaded. But its just a hunch right now. I try everything what I can think of, and tinker with the code, but any guidance is really appreciated.
