Good point! Additionally, I would prefer mailman (or whatever program does it) not appending the ml signature to *every* mail but only to the ones which don't have it at the bottom anymore. I always need to remove multiple (3 or more) instances of that sig everytime I do "netiquette-compliant" top- quoting.
