Ah... that's news for me, I thought 00 was a standard! Then + as a "standard" is perfectly natural, it's a way to hide that complexity from a normal person, then the phone must know from the country code if it's 00, 0011, etc... Sucks... it makes it a bit confusing... for instance: Portugal +351... Albania +355...
