The user interface for this release comes from the DeforaOS project: http://www.defora.org/ It resembles LXDE in its focus on smaller footprints, while considering embedded devices as important a target as regular desktops. Only parts of GNOME Mobile are necessary and used in this environment, mainly Gtk+ and PulseAudio. The look & feel is plain Gtk+, with some inspiration from Symbian. Even DBus was replaced with X messages where possible. The GSM code was written from scratch as well, and is directly part of the Gtk+ application handling telephony. Hope this clarifies a bit, -- khorben _______________________________________________ Openmoko community mailing list community@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/community
