Certainly. We do filtering for a number of customer and ISP Exchange
servers that way. Just setup up an SMTP alias, e.g. office.example.com, on
the Exchange server and forward mail from the IMail server for
[email protected] to [email protected].

Ok that's interesting.
Could I use my existing iMail server as a front end for the MS-Exchange
server and forward all the filtered
mail for just the one domain, on to the MS-Exchange server? I've not done
that before.
This iMail server has many other domains on it.
Thanks.

You can use Smartermail, Declude and Message Sniffer as a gateway to your
Exchange server.

Does anyone have a recommendation for anti-spam with MS Exchange?
We are using Declude and Sniffer with iMail due to historical reasons
and price.
I have a number of customers though who have enquired about
MS-Exchange and
one customer who has installed it to get outlook integration and can
get MS-Exchange
cheap because he is an MS partner of some kind. I have not used
exchange.
Can anyone recommend a 'best' lower-cost anti-spam solution for
MS-Exchange?
The customer said he was going to use MS-Forefront until explained
that that
was firewall and would require a dedicated server for it (or am I
wrong?)
and would
normally be quite expensive (though an MS-Partner might get the
software free).
Any insights?
If this is not the best place to ask, sorry for the intrusion.
Thanks.
Carl
