8 Great Opportunities To Learn About Integrations!
We've packed Innovate 2012 with sessions and activities everyone will love!
1
Integration Center
Let's hook up - your tools, our tools, their tools! This real-time
interoperability showcase
allows you to experience live scenarios between a huge variety of
tools from Rational's own
offerings to other IBM brand software to third party tools to open
source. Highlighting the
power of OSLC, you'll see a range of currently available and early
prototype integrations being
developed by IBM, business partners, and the community at large
such as:
Linked Data Integration between Rational ALM and HP QC
Open source integrations with Rational ALM
Smart Cloud Continuous Delivery
Visualize, analyze, and organize: Engineering Lifecycle
Management

Integration Center Magic Hour
Want to make sure you see everything in the Integration Center?
Want to have more in depth
conversations about a featured integration without dealing with
the crowds? This year, we're
offering "Magic Hour" passes that will allow you to enter the
Exhibit Hall early and accomplish
all those things, and anything else we can squeeze an hour. We'll
be giving out a limited
number of tickets to our customers interested in more in-depth
discussions on the integrations
we are featuring. Contact the Integrations Gearbox Team request
VIP access.

VoiCE - Integration Scenarios, adapters, and platforms
This session will address these issues from three perspectives:
We’ll focus on user scenarios
that integrate the Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management
(CLM) solution with third-party
tools that customers must use in conjunction with the Rational
products. We’ll present the
direction we are going with the adapters that serve these
scenarios and highlight how we want
to improve visibility into available integrations, as well as how
new integrations can be
requested. And we’ll preview how the Jazz platform is evolving to
support higher value
integrations across a variety of heterogeneous lifecycle tools.

OSLC Workshops
Learn how to OSLC enable your tool in a day at a Tuesday workshop
from 3-6. Attendees learn how
to plan for and do an integration based on OSLC onto an existing
tool, utilizing Bugzilla as an
example. The workshop leverages OSLC open source from the Eclipse
Lyo project. By the end of
the workshop, participants can connect Bugzilla into other
OSLC-enabled tools such as IBM
Rational Team Concert and IBM Rational Quality Manager.

OSLC Reception (limited)
The Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) Community has
worked very hard to define
and select integration scenarios, develop specifications that
address those scenarios, and to
implement software that enables those scenarios the using the
specifications. With that work
leading to so many great results on display at Innovate 2012, it
is about time for the OSLC
Community to meet face-to-face, celebrate its success, and get
re-energized to tackle the work
ahead. Its about time for the OSLC Hospitality Suite!
Food, drinks, networking, and fun will be available at the OSLC
Hospitality Suite from 8-10
Tuesday night. To co-sponsor the suite, or request tickets, OSLC
workgroup participants,
specification implementers, or other supporters should send an
email to the OSLC Communications
workgroup: [email protected]
6
Eclipse Lyo Chat
The Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) community is
working to standardize the
way that lifecycle tools can share data. Stop by the Eclipse Lyo
Chat to talk about
developing tool integrations the OSLC way. The Lyo project is
working to provide toolkits,
test suites, samples and tutorials to make tool integrations
easier. Share your integration
challenges and learn about how the assets in the Lyo project can
help. Potential contributors
interested in participating in the project are welcome too! If you
would like to sign-up, send
an email to the OSLC Communications workgroup:

Red Carpet Lounge
Do you have business problems you need to solve across a varied
and diverse set of tools and
products, including Rational products as well as third party
vendor and open source tools? Come
talk to our team of integration experts in this roundtable
discussion. We are focused on
learning more about our premiere customers' integration needs to
ensure Rational tools add
value across the lifecycle in these complex environments. There
are a variety of topics we can
cover such as:
A centralized integration platform that provides data indexing,
reporting, and a variety of
other integration services
Product-to-product integrations such as HP QC and RRC, GIT and
RTC, or JIRA and RQM
General Rational Strategy for 3rd party integrations, and how
we manage visibility of
available integrations
IBM's participation in the OSLC community for specification
development, and contributions
to the Eclipse LYO OSLC SDK project
