Welcome to Recreating Eden! Changing the world - one garden at a time Let us help you recreate Eden, through the Vision TV/Recreating Eden Community Garden Initiative To celebrate the premiere of our fourth season, Recreating Eden, in partnership with VisionTV, would like to lend a helping hand to public and community gardens that are making a difference. How? Tell us how $1,000 would help your garden make a greater contribution to the community. We'll look carefully at every submission, and select the candidate with the greatest potential. We look forward to hearing from you! How to enter: Please tell us, in 300 words or less: how would a $1,000 contribution enhance your public or community garden project? (Examples: developing a community vegetable garden, creating a hort-therapy garden, planting flowers in urban areas etc.) Please remember to include a brief history of your garden project, its location, and details on how you would use the funds. If you do not receive acknowledgement, please call 204.775.4092 and ask for Dodie. SUBMISSION DEADLINE: MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2007. Rules: The recipient of the Recreating Eden Garden Initiative Project would agree to the following terms. a.. The garden, details of the garden (including name, location, history, description) would be made available and used for promotional purposes by Vision TV and Recreating Eden. This includes press releases and websites. b.. Signage in the form of a plaque would be placed on the garden site with the names Vision TV & Recreating Eden (exact wording tbc). The plaque would be created by Vision TV in consultation with the selected garden and would reflect the sponsorship. c.. The garden and its gardeners would be made available for pre-scheduled media visits to the garden. d.. Photos and possibly video footage of the garden and its gardeners would be available for use for publicity and marketing purposes of the series including: Recreating Eden and Vision TV websites, newsletters etc. (We will send a photographer to take the photos if necessary). e.. Where appropriate, the Recreating Eden and Vision TV sponsorship of the garden would be mentioned/listed on appropriate promotional materials distributed by the selected garden, including newsletters, websites etc. f..
