Subject: market gardening with immigrants and community edible landscaping

I'm requesting information, including reports, brochures, summaries, electronic
links etc... and materials concerning business development around 1) community
gardening projects, especially with Sudanese, Vietnamese and Latino
communities, and 2) community edible landscaping. General ideas and comments
are encouraged and welcomed.

What components of such a project are important to consider ... budget items,
type of staff support needed, training to be offered, other resources
necessary?

The first portion of the project that would support the creation and assistance
of small businesses and commerce springing from existing community gardens.

The second aspect of the project includes the development of edible landscaping
on a community level. This might include landscaping on a school property, or
the coordination of private citizens within a neighborhood.

We would like to approach the development of our project with a healthy
education of similar recent experiences. Good or bad.

Thank you for taking the time to help us and our community.
