I know diddley squat about growing apples (I think I've been in an orchard
maybe twice in my life), but in the 26 years that i've been on this earth I
have consumed an inordinate amount of fruit, especially apples and
watermelon. Unless our Grace from the Garden books sport different covers,
I think you would be better off finding that "variety" in the watermelon
family rather than among the apples. Just an FYI.

No poop, James!
I took a long, second look, and the sucker does looks like a watermellon!
Having never grown a watermellon in our garden on West 48th Street in
Manhattan, I had no idea what a baby watermelon looked like, even when
enhanced by
someone's computer to fit in the palms of someone's hands like that...
Blame it on the fact that I'm a Yankee, OK?
Adam Honigman
P.S. - So what did you think of the book?
