Here are the different levels:
Student/youth--self-explanatory $25 entitles you to the Community
Gardener Newsletter, Community Greening Review, and reduced admission
to annual and regional conferences.
*Community Gardener-- somebody who doesn't have an organization to
cover membership $25
entitles you to the Community Gardener Newsletter, Community Greening
Review, and reduced registration to annual and regional conferences.
*Professional/Friend of ACGA --self-explanatory $50 entitles you
to the Community Gardener Newsletter, Community Greening Review, free
publications and reduced registration to annual and regional
conferences.
*Note: Individual memberships (CG, Prof, Friend) are intended for
those without organizational affiliation or who are with a member
organization and wish to further support ACGA
Library $50 entitles you to the Community Gardener Newsletter,
Community Greening Review, free publications, but not reduced
registration to annual and regional conferences.
Organizational-- for an organization $100 entitles you to the
Community Gardener Newsletter, Community Greening Review, free
publications and up to 4 reduced registrations to annual and regional
conferences.
Supporting $200
Sustaining $500
Corporate $1000
These levels are for those who can afford to support community
gardening on a national level. I believe Corporate members get free
admission to conferences, but I'm not sure.
We've always been a a low-budget organization made up predominantly
of low-budget organizations and individuals. We were forced to raise
the membership rates in 2002 or stop putting out publications.
Policy has always been to pay what your conscience can bear--or the
highest level your budget can bear.

I can't seem to get any information from the ACGA about the different levels
of membership. I keep emailing them, but they never write me back. Does
anybody know their phone number or the difference between a student,
professional, and organizational membership. My organization has a small
budget and I'm not sure I can justify $100 for a membership to ACGA. Please
