just a note to say thanks for all the responses i have gotten on my question. 
this list serve is the best thing i've come across on the internet. obviously i 
have a problem with defining a problem statement and one specific topic to 
study. i am currently going through all the information i have been forwarded 
and have a pretty good idea about some topics. thanks again.
