It's a shame that the trees in front of 75 Henry had to be taken down, but the contractor is clearly at fault. I have seen the pictures of the very deep trench dug when the anchoring roots were severed. There was no need at all for the work to be done in this way. A very professional ISA Arborist and professionals at the Parks Dept. all concurred that the construction crew had made the trees a liability.
