Michael Simmons has led public meetings to discuss community food security in Bloomington, Ind. Simmons will lead a discussion with Indianapolis residents, providing updates on his work, in addition to providing information on food policy initiatives in Canada. Following will be a discussion on how these models might be adapted to Indianapolis. By inviting Simmons to Indianapolis, we can determine if enough interest exists to begin working toward community and regional food security in central Indiana.
